Setup. Your menu comes from your Clover. You try everything on a demo shop with its own phone number before it touches your line, and we set you up with you on a call. The phone's setup is $100, charged when the two free months end, whether you keep it or not. Kitchen is set up for you for $500.
Screens. $50 a month for each one, kitchen or counter, on Line or Kitchen. A tablet at the oven, one at the make line, one at the front: three screens, $150 a month.
What you supply. A Clover register, a tablet or two, and for walk in temperatures a set of wifi thermometers you buy yourself. No hardware rental, no markup.
Your data is yours. Never sold, never shared, never pooled, never trained on. Download everything from Settings whenever you want. Leave, and we delete our side on request.
On another register? SoFire works with Clover today. Tell us which one you use, and you'll hear from us when there's a shop ready to build it for.
What would the phone cost you?
Drag it to about how many minutes your phone spends on calls in a normal month. Not your best month of the year, a normal one.
If you're paying a service by the minute now, last month's bill has the number. If you're not, about two minutes an order is a fair guess: 300 phone orders is about 600 minutes.
The shop this was built in paid $1,416 at 60¢ a minute for a month of 2,360 minutes. On SoFire that month is $999.
Your number
Minutes on calls in a normal month
Busy summer, quiet winter? The bill follows your minutes and stops at $999. It never goes past that without your yes.
Next to what you already pay
The honest comparison, since you're going to do it anyway.
Online ordering services take $1.75 to $2.00 an order, or a percentage, and the customer's phone number is theirs, not yours. On SoFire your order page is part of Line, flat by the month, and the customer is yours.
Other phone services bill by the minute too. At 60¢ a minute the shop this was built in paid $1,416 for a month that costs $999 here: 50¢ a minute after the first 400, and a bill that stops at $999.
One missed call a day is thirty orders a month. At a $28 ticket that's $840 in sales you never saw, more than four times the phone's base price.
Clover's own add ons for a kitchen screen, scheduling and inventory add up fast and still don't talk to each other. Here they're one app reading one menu, and a screen, kitchen or counter, is $50 a month on Line or Kitchen.
Questions owners ask
Is this only for pizza shops?
It was built in one, so the defaults fit a pizza kitchen: sizes and halves, dough weights, a slice case, prep by station, a walk in and a freezer. But nothing in it only works for pizza. Any independent restaurant on Clover with a crew, a phone that rings and a couple of vendors gets the same thing out of it.
Does it replace my Clover?
No. Clover stays the register and the source of truth for your menu and prices. SoFire reads from it, and the phone and the order page put orders into it like any ticket rung at the counter. The Menu screen writes a change to the register only when you tap, and you can undo it.
What do I need to run it?
A Clover register, a tablet in the kitchen and everyone's phones. It runs in the browser, and you can put it on the home screen so it opens like an app. Nothing to update. For walk in temperatures you also buy a set of wifi thermometers, about the price of a case of cheese. We don't sell them and we don't mark them up.
How does setup work?
You answer a short list of questions about your shop, tick boxes mostly, and SoFire builds a demo shop from your Clover menu with its own phone number. Call it. Order from it. Watch the kitchen screen. When it's right, we go live together on a call, on a slow day. The phone's two free months start the day it answers on your real line.
What can the crew see?
There's an owner code, a crew code, and a PIN for each manager. The crew gets the schedule, prep lists, tasks, the time clock and time off. Pricing, vendors, payroll and your notes stay behind the owner code. Ask the Manager on the crew tablet is working from a version of your shop with the money taken out of it.
Does it work with my payroll?
The time clock exports hours, overtime and each person's card tips in the file RUN Powered by ADP imports as a time sheet, with your company code and earnings codes on it. Other payroll companies take the same numbers as a CSV. If you're on something else, tell us on the demo and we'll check it before you commit.
What's still being finished?
Third party orders on the kitchen screen, the self order kiosk and the self pay display. They're marked wherever they show up on this site. Everything else runs at On Point Pizza today, and the phone answers the shop's main line.
Is there a contract?
Month to month. Leave at the end of any month. Your data is yours and you can download all of it before you go.
